A New Outlook on New Hampshire

New Hampshire Public Television will add a nightly half-hour news program to its schedule this fall. Premiering Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m., NH Outlook offers timely, intelligent and substantive coverage of statewide events and issues, according to Peter Frid, NHPTV's general manager.

Frid stressed that the new program is not a traditional newscast. It focuses on topics of statewide interest, such as health, business, arts, education and politics. "Just as the name promises, this is a series that will look at the big picture when it considers issues and events facing New Hampshire and its people," Frid says.
