Three UNH alumni met in Sharana, East Paktika Province, Afghanistan, earlier this year and posed for a photo: 1st Lt. Patrick Maher '08, left, Lt. Col. Michael Simino '84 and Maj. Mark DeRocchi '08G. Maher and DeRocchi are in the 92nd Engineer Battalion and Simino is with the 3-401st Afghanistan Maintenance and Supply Operational Support. After a box of UNH gear from the Alumni Office arrived in March, Maher and DeRocchi modeled Operation Hat Trick baseball caps (below).
