UNH men's hockey received an at-large berth to the NCAA Northeast Regional playoffs, extending its NCAA tournament appearance streak to 10 years, but lost to Notre Dame 2-1 on March 27. The team ended its season 22-11-6. Paul Thompson '11, a Hobey Baker top-10 finalist and the Hockey East Player of the Year, signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Mike Sislo '11 and Matt Campanale '11 also signed with pro teams.

The women's swimming and diving team took first place at the ECAC Championships in February. The 'Cats broke five school and five ECAC records. It was the team's first ECAC championship since 2005. Amy Perrault '11, who took three individual titles, received the Women's Swimmer of the Meet award. UNH won Coaching Staff of the Meet honors.

The UNH ski team finished eighth in the 2011 NCAA Ski Championships in March. Alpine skier Zach Clayton '12 finished third in the men's slalom race and received All-America First Team honors. It was the team's best NCAA result since 2000.

The women's gymnastics team placed fifth in the NCAA Division I Women's Gymnastics Regional Championships in April. Co-captain Chelsea Steinberg '11 scored 9.825 on vault and 9.8 on beam.
